Serac makes time on the mountain easier and more affordable for families. Join as a member and enjoy access to both our Whakapapa and Ohakune lodges throughout the year.

Why Membership Works?

As a not-for-profit, member-owned club, SERAC is designed to keep mountain stays accessible and affordable for families. Instead of paying commercial accommodation prices, members enjoy year-round access to both lodges and a welcoming mountain community.

Unlike a hotel, everyone pitches in. Families share simple lodge duties like meal preparation, cleaning, and helping keep the lodge running smoothly. It's part of what makes SERAC special, creating a strong sense of community while teaching kids responsibility, teamwork, and old-school values that are becoming harder to find.

It's a simple way to enjoy more time on the mountain, avoid the hassle of day trips and long drives, and create lifelong memories with family and friends. ❤️🏔️⛷️🏂

Family Membership - Covers 2 Adults & up to 3 kids

Individual Adults 18+ $349

🏔Whakapapa - Peak Winter

Family Room (Covers 2 Adults & up to 3 kids):

$260 per night (includes dinner and breakfast)

Per Bunk Rates (includes dinner and breakfast):

Adults + Youth (10+) – $65 per night

Junior (5–9) – $32 per night

Child (under 5) – $18 per night

Summer Stays from $35 per adult & Summer full lodge bookings from only $250 per night!

🌄 Ohakune - Peak Winter

Family Room (Covers 2 Adults & up to 3 kids):

$220 per night (includes dinner and breakfast)
