Serac wants your mates!

Now that the refurbishment of the Whakapapa lodge is largely complete, we need more members. To achieve that, the committee wants to enlist your help and active participation.

The committee believes that current members are best placed to recruit new members. A poster has been created that you can put up at workplaces, sports clubs etc.

What do we want you to do?

• Print off a few posters, in colour if you can, put your name on them and put them up at work, a sports club or wherever you think it may attract potential members.



• Email the poster off to a few friends that you think may be interested in joining the club.



• Help interested people become informed about the club and how it operates.



• Sponsor interested people to try out the club.

Making it easy to join

To help you get your friends interested we have created:

• "Try before you buy" Potential members will be able to book and stay for two nights at either lodge at member's rates and with all the bookings rights of member's so long as you accompany them as sponsor. This will give certainty to your arrangements and give you plenty of time to win them over to the idea of joining.



• Pay the joining fee in instalments In order to lower barriers for prospective new members, the joining fee can now be paid in interest-free instalments rather than as a lump sum.

• For every person you recruit who signs up as a member, the committee offers you a free weekend at a lodge of your choice.



• The person who recruits the most new members during the 2006 season will not have to pay any subscription fees in 2007.
